Cancellation Policy

Non-NDIS Clients –  Cancelling Appointments and Cancellation Fees
All fee paying clients are asked to provide a minimum of 24 hours notice of a cancellation, if possible. Regular therapy times will be negotiated with your Speech Pathologist or Psychologist and it is expected that these appointment times will be kept unless sufficient notice or reason is given. The Speech Pathologists or Psychologists prepare well in advance for your session and therefore cancellations made with insufficient notice, or not showing up at all, will incur a $50 cancellation fee (from 1st December 2019). In the case of 3 consecutive cancellations or ‘no shows’ without sufficient notice, or a history of multiple instances of this nature, we reserve the right to offer your appointment time to another client or to cease services completely. A $100 cancellation fee applies to fee paying Riverland Psychology clients as we do not charge travel for our visiting Psychologists and appointments are currently limited.

PLEASE NOTE: the cancellation fee will be reviewed at the discretion of management and changes will be displayed in the waiting room and on our website.
